At Buikwe Youth and Women Empowerment Program (BYWEP), we’re all about making sure every woman and young person in Buikwe district, Uganda, has the chance to shine. We’re here to help the next generation grow through education, skills training, and getting involved in the community. Thanks to our amazing volunteers and partners, we’ve already made a big difference for so many women and youth in the region. One of our central missions is to support the mental health and well-being of women and the youth. We recognize that challenges such as unemployment, social expectations, and a lack of access to essential health services can weigh heavily on individuals. That’s why we’ve created safe and inclusive spaces for counseling, peer support, and awareness initiatives. Our goal is to foster resilience, confidence, and strength, ensuring every person has access to the tools they need to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Access to reproductive health resources is a cornerstone of our work. We believe that every woman has the right to make informed decisions about her body and her future.
